As AI agents redefine software development, Docker is at the center of that shift, providing the sandboxed environments, verified images, and secure infrastructure that make autonomous workflows trustworthy by default. We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer with strong technical credibility and the ability to operate across direct enterprise, partner, and developer community motions in one of Docker's highest-priority APAC markets. India is Docker's third-largest APAC market and home to the world's second-largest developer community, combining a massive open-source ecosystem, a large IT services sector, and a high-growth enterprise segment. This role requires an SE who can engage Fortune-equivalent enterprises directly, enable a diverse channel partner ecosystem, and build authentic presence in one of the world's most active developer communities. The scope extends beyond India, with periodic travel to Southeast Asia to support regional coverage. This role reports to the SE Leader, APAC. RESPONSIBILITIES PARTNER ENABLEMENT AND CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT - Enable and co-sell with Docker's channel partner ecosystem to deliver technical coverage across India's diverse partner landscape, including large SIs, IT services companies, regional VARs, and hyperscaler partner teams. - Run joint partner workshops, technical enablement sessions, and solution briefings to build partner SE capability. - Support partner-led opportunities with architectural depth, PoC support, and competitive differentiation. - Develop and maintain partner-ready technical assets: demo environments, reference architectures, and enablement decks. - Build strong working relationships with key SI, IT services, and reseller contacts across India's channel ecosystem, where the same organisations often represent both partner and customer opportunities. - Support pipeline development across both direct and partner-sourced opportunities. EVANGELIST AND COMMUNITY PRESENCE - Build Docker's technical presence across India's developer and DevSecOps community, spanning major tech hubs including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai. - Speak at industry and partner-organised conferences, including India's growing DevSecOps, cloud-native, and AI developer circuit. - Produce technical content — blog posts, how-to guides, and solution briefs — that addresses gaps in Docker documentation and resonates with the India developer community. - Represent Docker at meetups, developer days, and hackathons to drive awareness and top-of-funnel interest. STRATEGIC CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT - Lead deep technical discovery across Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI teams at strategic accounts to understand: - AI governance requirements and agentic development workflows - Software supply chain risk and secure build pipeline needs - Regulatory and compliance drivers relevant to the Indian market (DPDP Act, CERT-In, RBI circulars for BFSI, SEBI for capital markets, MeitY requirements for public sector) - Container security posture and DevSecOps maturity - Design, position, and execute structured PoCs/PoVs with clear success criteria and executive-ready value summaries. - Influence buying decisions through demos, workshops, architecture reviews, and technical executive briefings. - Translate Docker's AI security and governance capabilities into business value narratives for CISOs, Heads of Platform Engineering, and AI leaders. - Build
