In this role, you will report to the Regional Operations Manager and be responsible for leading a team and overseeing a fleet of vehicles. Your duties will include leading and developing a team of Operations Associates, driving operational excellence, fostering a value-based culture of continuous improvement through deep data analysis and problem-solving to identify performance gaps and delivering on company’s key performance metrics. . At one of our Flexdrive facilities, you and your team will support the community through Lyft s Express Drive program, a key driver of our growth. Lyft drivers are the backbone of our customer-obsessed organization, and your role will be to ensure that every interaction with them has a purpose to serve and connect.</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Accountable for your market’s business health and strives to deliver on Flexdrive OKRs by frequently analyzing market level data for performance gaps, managing fleet operational costs and process improvement opportunities</li> <li>Lead the team responsible for assisting Lyft drivers through the end-to-end rental process of the Express Drive Program; ensuring all team members are up-to-date on all trainings and processes</li> <li>Foster team member growth and development by conducting regular 1:1 meetings and professional development discussions, while coaching through timely and constructive feedback</li> <li>Drive high utilization metrics by managing the vehicle supply lifecycle across your market, from in-fleeting to maintenance to decommissioning and disposition, and continually reduce out-of-service vehicle time by swiftly resolving escalated vehicle issues when they arise</li> <li>Responsible for talent retention and serve as the hiring manager for your local site and accountable for the onboarding process for new team members </li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with various vendors and partners, including service providers, collision shops, and internal/external teams, to optimize vehicle quality and turnaround time </li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for your site’s continued maintenance, security and safety, partnering closely with cross-functional partners as needed to ensure our sites are safe, compliant, and provide a great workplace experience</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Experience:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Passionate about delivering great customer experiences with a strong track record to back that up</li> <li>4 years experience managing Retail, customer service, or vehicle rental team  </li> <li> 3+ years managing hard assets in a fleet management business (car rental, FMC, etc) preferred</li> <li>Experience managing vendors and partners</li> <li>Ability to coach and develop team members within your org</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Strong attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to multi-task and switch into different modes during the workday/week</li> <li>Lover of dashboards, data, and metrics</li> <li>A valid unrestricted driver s license and satisfactory driving record and be insurable under Lyft s policy required</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Benefits:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled</li> <li>Mental health benefits</li> <li>Family building benefits</li> <li>Child care and pet benefits</li> <li>401(k) plan with company match to help save for yo
