We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader or Manager to join us as a Pharmacy Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your leadership experience into a fast-paced healthcare environment, supporting, motivating and developing a high-performing team across both weekday and weekend shifts. You do not need previous pharmacy experience or a pharmacy qualification for this role. What we are looking for is someone with strong people leadership experience who knows how to run a successful shift, manage competing priorities, support their team and maintain high standards in a busy operational environment. As Pharmacy Team Lead, you will be right at the heart of our day-to-day pharmacy operations. This is a hands-on role where no two days will be the same. You will help coordinate shifts, manage changing priorities, resolve operational challenges and provide clear, confident guidance to colleagues. You will act as a visible and approachable point of leadership on shift, ensuring workloads are managed effectively, standards are consistently maintained and any issues are identified and addressed quickly. You will also support the development of your colleagues through regular feedback, coaching and encouragement, helping them build their confidence, strengthen their skills and take pride in the service they provide. Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and wider Pharmacy Operations team, you will help drive continuous improvement across the pharmacy. Whether it’s finding better ways of working, improving efficiency, strengthening communication or supporting the implementation of new processes, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and make a genuine difference to how we operate. This role would be perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys bringing people together and is ready to take greater ownership and responsibility. You will need to be organised, proactive and calm under pressure, with the confidence to make decisions, support colleagues and maintain excellent standards. You don’t need to be a pharmacy expert — you need to be a great leader. We will support you in developing your understanding of our pharmacy environment, processes and requirements.
