The Role: The ICT Validation Specialist will report to the Regulatory Compliance Testing Team Lead, and the role may also require executing some testing in financial services subject matter areas other than those outlined above. Key responsibilities include: • Execute compliance testing/validation in accordance with program methodology, standard operating procedures, and team leadership guidance to assess the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of customer remediation and restitution effort. • Evaluate key remediation milestones and validation tollgates—including scoping, population identification, calculation methodology, payment execution—prior to formal task/issue closure. • Coordinate intake activities, establish validation milestones, participate in planning meetings, and maintain ongoing communication with Issue Owners, Member Remediation, Compliance, and other relevant stakeholders. • Partner with Data Analytics and technical teams to review queries/logic, inclusion/exclusion criteria, lookback periods to ensure complete and accurate impacted population identification. • Evaluate restitution formulas and recalculate payout amounts to ensure financial relief is accurate, fair, and aligned with approved criteria. • Investigate potential errors through structured inquiry and root-cause analysis to determine whether issues are isolated or systemic. • Prepare clear, comprehensive Validation Memos, sampling strategy documents, and workpapers that support independent review and auditability. • Perform quarterly monitoring and analysis of Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) metrics to assess compliance and operational performance. • Validate the accuracy and integrity of data provided by the first line regarding key compliance metrics such as SCRA, FCRA, Reg B, and other applicable regulations. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree • At least 6-10 years of compliance testing or auditing experience, specifically within financial services or a regulated banking institution • Strong working knowledge of consumer lending (personal loans, student loans), credit cards and consumer (and commercial) payments; and their applicable laws and regulations. • Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills • Strong communication skills <div class="content-pay-transparency
