About The Team: As the Senior Facilities Manager, you will lead all aspects of facilities and maintenance operations across the site, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment. You'll oversee building and equipment maintenance, contractor and vendor relationships, budgets, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Leading a team of Facilities colleagues, you'll inspire high performance, deliver against key KPIs and objectives, and ensure the site operates to the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. What You Will Be Doing: • Lead, motivate, and develop the Facilities & Maintenance team to achieve outstanding performance and help every colleague reach their full potential. • Oversee the day-to-day operation of site facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing working environment. • Manage and coordinate maintenance teams and contractors, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. • Act as the first point of contact for colleague queries, working closely with HR, Training, and other support teams where required. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance, reliability, and efficiency. • Lead facilities procurement activities, including tendering and RFP processes, to secure best value and effective facilities management solutions. • Implement and optimise central Building Management System (BMS) dashboards to improve visibility, control, and performance. • Manage facilities and maintenance budgets, identifying opportunities to maximise value while maintaining service excellence. • Build strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating contracts and negotiating commercial terms to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. • Identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues, escalating complex challenges to the Facilities & Maintenance senior leadership team where appropriate. • Ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and all relevant company policies. • Champion a culture of Food Safety and Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and recognised standards, including BRCGS and ISO, while promoting a proactive approach to risk management. • Conduct regular audits, track corrective actions, and drive continuous compliance across Food Safety, Health & Safety, and other regulatory standards. • Promote a strong safety culture by reporting incidents promptly, encouraging colleagues to raise concerns, and taking responsibility for maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
