Our Energy Products practice are looking for an experienced Lead Data Products Engineer to join the team. Baringa are world leaders in modelling energy markets and using the insights generated through these models to drive change in a decarbonising energy industry. The Energy Products practice specialises in the development and innovation of our analytical models and supporting technology ecosystem underpinned by our deep expertise in the energy markets. Our staff come from diverse backgrounds, based across multiple geographies, and building models that utilise highly varied data sources – everything from kilobytes of academic papers to terabytes of hourly scenario projections for 50+ years. To ensure the ongoing success of our product development and manage the increasing complexity of our models, we are establishing a dedicated Data Products Team to curate, design and evolve the data products that underpin our modelling processes, analytics outputs and client-facing systems — working within our new internal Data and Processing Platform.
