NET Developer, you will operate at an impactful level to design, build, and deliver robust backend features. We are looking for a pragmatic self-starter who is skilled at problem-solving, confident in taking ownership, and capable of figuring things out independently to deliver value quickly. This position is an Inside IR35 Contract , initially for 6 months and is available on a Hybrid or Remote basis from Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or London . Responsibilities Architectural Delivery: Design and deliver end-to-end backend subsystems and features, ensuring code is modular, maintainable, and built to scale. Problem Solving & Execution: Hit the ground running as a self-starter to analyse, troubleshoot, and solve complex technical challenges independently. Quality & Security: Champion high standards through constructive peer code reviews, establishing defensive application security measures, and implementing thorough testing strategies across unit and service levels. Consulting & Communication: Translate complex technical choices into clear, accessible language for clients and stakeholders, building strong, trusting relationships. Delivery Accountability: Balance speed and high-quality standards thoughtfully to ensure the successful, sustainable delivery of features within required contract timelines. NET). Solid hands-on experience working with Web Forms as well as MVC . Strong database skills using tSQL , including extensive experience writing and optimising Stored Procedures and using lightweight ORMs like Dapper . Experience handling occasional frontend tasks using JavaScript . Strong understanding of SOLID principles, maintainability, and industry-standard security practices. Familiarity or experience with modern cloud tools and patterns, such as Azure , Durable Functions , Event Sourcing , SQL , and Docker .
