The Role As an AI Scientist on the Robotics team, you will develop the next generation of AI systems for general-purpose mobile manipulation robots. Your work will help advance intelligent robots that can perceive, reason, and interact with the physical world in real-world environments. You will collaborate closely with researchers, software engineers, and product teams to build scalable AI models and deploy them on physical robotic platforms. By combining cutting-edge research with production-grade engineering, you will help bridge the gap between frontier AI and real-world robotics. What You Will Do Develop novel AI methods for mobile manipulation and embodied intelligence. Build scalable infrastructure for training, evaluating, and analyzing AI models. Deploy AI systems on real-world robotic platforms. Advance vision-language and robot learning capabilities. Collaborate across research, engineering, and product teams to deliver impactful solutions. Optimise AI models for reliable real-world robotic performance. What We're Looking For Hands-on experience building AI systems for robotics or developing large vision-language models. Strong software engineering skills, preferably in Python. Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch. Ability to design scalable, production-ready AI software and infrastructure. Experience with robotics domains such as manipulation, navigation, simulation, 3D perception, embodied reasoning, or vision-language-action models. Familiarity with the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle, including training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-driven, and collaborative approach.
