About the role: Samsara is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Governance Platform team. This team builds the foundational platforms that enforce governance, identity security, compliance, and software supply-chain protections across all of Samsara’s cloud infrastructure and developer environments. Rather than relying on manual reviews or policy enforcement, this team delivers secure, compliant-by-default systems through cloud IAM guardrails, automated controls, and scalable platform abstractions across AWS and GCP. As a Senior Engineer you will contribute hands-on to systems that need to be reliable and secure at scale, taking ownership of your components end-to-end. You will bring strong engineering judgment to design discussions, while looking to senior/staff engineers and your manager for guidance on cross-team tradeoffs.
