As a Senior Software Developer in our Market Data team, you will be working on a broad set of real-world problems. In close collaboration with our business analysts and data engineers, you will create high-performance data processing solutions that scale using emerging technologies and approaches and help us define new best practices. Your Tasks Designing and implementing challenging projects to develop our data processing pipeline. Building up a data landscape that acts as the single source of all relevant data in the long run. Engineering ETL processes. Developing high performance APIs and streaming solutions to our clients and data vendors. Being an in-house consultant for best track, store, and access data. Your Profile 8+ years of software development, data engineering, or relevant experience, including at least 5 years of in-depth Python experience. Software Engineering: good understanding of microservice architectures, Liskov’s Substitution Principle, design patterns, and dynamic dispatch. Databases: experience with at least one SQL/NoSQL database, such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including schema definition and evolution, as well as ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy, JPA, or Hibernate. Cloud / Cloud-native development: Google Cloud Platform (GCP). CI/CD: ability to define build pipelines and perform, validate, and monitor deployments. Good understanding of microservice architectures. Ability to define Docker images according to the Twelve-Factor App methodology. , Gitflow, trunk-based development).
