Power Trading & Renewables Analytics Internship Program Six-Month Internship: 15 February – 12 August 2027 Berlin or Grenoble (full-time, on site) Engelhart’s Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in renewables and power trading analytics. Interns will work closely with front office teams on data-led projects that support commercial decision-making, optimisation, and risk management across energy markets. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have the right to work in the relevant internship location and be available to commence their six-month internship from 15 February 2027 . The internship opportunities covered by this advert are as follows: • Power Analytics Intern, Berlin • PPA Optimisation Analytics Intern, Berlin • Balancing Risk Management Analytics Intern, Berlin • Systematic Quantitative Research Intern, Berlin • Renewables Portfolio Analytics Intern, Grenoble Applicants may indicate areas of particular interest during the process, but final role allocation will be based on business need, candidate profile and overall fit. We are also hiring for Renewables Origination and Weather Analytics internships in Berlin. These have separate application processes due to their different candidate profiles. What You Can Expect Hands-on experience on a dedicated renewables, power or balancing risk management desk, depending on the internship you are hired for, working on projects with real commercial relevance. • Exposure to how data, analytics and optimisation support trading, portfolio management or risk management decisions in energy markets, depending on desk requirements. • Close learning and mentorship from experienced front office professionals, including direct exposure to desk leadership. • A structured six-month internship within a global commodities business, combining cohort-based learning with deep desk integration.
