We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Staff Software Engineer passionate about building a world-class platform through a world-class team. Creating technical software excellence and spearheading application development in design, implementation, and maintenance to make great things happen. What you'll do: • Build, scale and maintain infrastructure of the enterprise reconciliation application that brings the world class user experience to finance professionals • Work with wider technical teams on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of infrastructure of our products • Be a technical domain leader, provide technical guidance to your team and own the delivery of features. • Participate in raising our standard of engineering excellence by implementing standard methodologies for architecture, coding, testing, and deployment What you'll bring: • 8+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating large-scale distributed infrastructure, with 4+ years serving as a technical lead and mentoring engineers. • Minimum 5+ years experience with AWS & Kubernetes • Deep expertise in Linux and Windows server environments, with strong experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and scripting languages including Bash, Python, and PowerShell. • Experience with data infrastructure and processing technologies such as Spark and MSSQL. Experience building the systems that power high-volume transactional workloads, ideally in finance space. Cybersecurity experience is a plus. • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. • A track record of building infrastructure that scales, stays available, and remains secure, using Agile practices to ship reliably. • You work openly and collaboratively with diverse teams, and you're energized by driving engineering excellence through better standards, processes, and shared knowledge. • BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
