The opportunity: As Flexport opens its doors in Brazil, we're looking for an Account Manager to help lead client growth in one of the most important markets in our LATAM expansion. You’ll be part of the initial cohort of local hires building Flexport’s presence in the country. Flexport moves more than $175B in goods for over 13,000 clients across 135 countries, and this role gives you the opportunity to bring that scale to Brazil, building relationships with some of the world's largest brands as they navigate a market that's just getting started for us. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Trade Advisory, Customs, and Procurement, both locally and across our global network, to build client strategies that grow the São Paulo book of business from the ground up. This is a role for someone who wants to do more than manage renewals. You'll define what account management looks like in Brazil: building the relationships with local clients, the account plans, and the playbooks other markets will follow as we scale. You'll partner with our global sales teams in the US, Europe, and APAC to open doors, grow share of wallet with existing global accounts operating in Brazil, and turn Flexport's Air, Ocean, Cross-border, Customs, and Control Tower offerings into real value for clients navigating one of the most complex logistics markets in the world. You will: • Develop and launch new solutions that meet the needs of the largest and most complex global freight forwarding clients • Focus on accelerating growth across the full Flexport portfolio, including Air, Ocean, Cross-border, Trade Advisory, Customs, and Control Tower • Partner with global sales teams in the US, Europe, and APAC to identify expansion opportunities with existing accounts and grow Flexport's share of wallet • Work cross-functionally, across Operations, Procurement, Fulfillment, Implementation, Legal, industry subject matter experts, and Trade and Financial Services, to build and execute client strategies that maximize outcomes • Drive sales by upselling in Brazil, demonstrating Flexport's value through platform demos, coordinating onboarding with cross-functional teams, and managing client operating procedures for consistency and efficiency • Run business review meetings for key clients, review operational performance, and follow up on Net Promoter Score (NPS) results to improve client satisfaction • Oversee account-level quality assurance: evaluate metrics proactively, manage volume forecasts, and resolve discrepancies to keep accounts performing well • Build alignment with executive-level customer contacts and maintain relationships with stakeholders at some of the world's largest brands • Stay current on industry and supply chain developments so you can proactively educate and support clients through change You should have: • Bachelor's or master's degree • 3-5 years of Freight Forwarding/Saas Account Manage
