About the Role The Data & AI team is responsible for building B Lab's data platform, delivering on business priorities, and scaling AI adoption across the organization. The team reports directly to the CTDO. The Data & ML Platforms team owns the data platform, ML infrastructure, and the foundational data models the rest of the Data & AI team depends on — the supply-side capability layer that Business & Data Priorities and AI Enablement build on. As the Data Governance Lead on the Data & ML Platforms pillar, you own data standards, definitions, and sensitivity classification across B Lab's data platform, and ensure the platform and its analytics comply with relevant laws and documentation requirements. Beyond governance, you play a growing role in building data literacy across the organization — helping teams understand and trust the data available to them, and ensuring definitions and standards are actually adopted, not just documented. You work closely with the Senior Analytics Engineer and Data Engineer to make sure new models and pipelines are built to standard from the start.
