Product Design is central to that transformation. Improving user experience is one of our top company-wide objectives. We’re investing in design as a strategic capability to shape how our products work end-to-end. We’re looking for a UX Product Designer to join our Product Design centre of excellence at Dotmatics. This is a high-impact role where you’ll help define and deliver experiences used by millions of scientists working across biology, chemistry, and microbiology. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Business Analysts, Scientists, and UX Researchers to solve complex problems, evolve our design system, and deliver insight-driven, end-to-end experiences across our platform. This position is a 6 month fixed term contract. In this role, you will • Own and drive user experience across key product areas—from early concept through to delivery and iteration • Translate complex scientific workflows and data models into clear, intuitive, and scalable user experiences • Create and communicate design solutions through user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes • Leverage AI tools in your design workflow—from rapid prototyping to exploration and iteration (e.g. using tools like Figma and Claude) • Use research and data to inform decisions, working closely with UX Research to identify
