How You'll Make an Impact: As a Senior Software Engineer on the Workflow Squad, you'll design, build, and operate product capabilities that help Cloudbeds support increasingly complex hospitality operations. This is primarily a backend product engineering role, working in PHP and Java across services, APIs, data, and event-driven systems, with occasional frontend contributions when needed. You'll take ownership of work from technical design through production, balancing near-term product delivery with the reliability and maintainability of the broader platform. You'll work closely with product and engineering partners to solve ambiguous problems and deliver simple, dependable experiences for our customers. Our Workflow Squad: The Workflow Squad builds product and platform capabilities that coordinate business processes across Cloudbeds products and services. The team works across existing systems to create flexible, reliable experiences that support a wide range of customer needs. You'll join a hands-on, product-minded group that values pragmatic architecture, clear ownership, maintainable code, and strong collaboration across Product, Design, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering. The squad works AI-first. Claude Code is the default starting point for implementation, and the engineer who ships a change owns it in review and in production.
