As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? About the role The AuthKit team is responsible for building AuthKit: a set of UI and APIs that enable B2B developers to solve identity and authentication. Our goal is to build the best possible developer and end-user experiences so customers can onboard seamlessly and kick-start their enterprise journey. AuthKit has seen strong adoption and is now relied upon as critical infrastructure by many of the fastest-growing AI and software companies. To support this scale, we're looking for product engineers who have experience scaling this type of infrastructure and who can drive application reliability, scalability, and performance. This role straddles product and platform, with each informing the other. Our engineers obsess over the developer experience, actively seeking out feedback and new perspectives to inform the products we build. We're searching for engineers who share this empathetic approach to solving problems. Successful candidates will love taking ideas from zero to one, creating beautiful software experiences with modern tools, and care deeply about creating the best possible products. Responsibilities - Design and engineer delightful developer and end-user experiences - Build a deep understanding of AuthKit's place in the market and increase its adoption - Drive application reliability, scalability, and performance for a product relied upon at scale - Accrete developer trust by serving a highly available, performant, and secure product - Speak with customers regularly to get feedback, debug issues, and remove points of friction - Collaborate with other product teams, solutions engineering, and our go-to-market team - Work across both product and platform, letting each inform the other - Work directly with leadership on greenfield ideas Qualifications - 5+ years of industry software development experience - Bachelors degree required - Experience working on small teams in fast-paced environments - Background in crafting both polished UI/UX and API services end-to-end - Intellectually curious, independently driven, and passionate about great products - A growth mindset, high emotional intelligence, and strong communication skills - Bonus: Experience with our stack of TypeScript, React, and Postgres - Bonus: Experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or a related industry Benefits and Perks (US Only) 💖 At WorkOS, we offer resources that emphasize personal and familial well-being.
