If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, plumbing, and performing general maintenance. Refrigeration knowledge is a plus. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to help in all areas of maintenance when needed. Key Responsibilities: ● Perform routine maintenance and inspections of commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. ● Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner. ● Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. ● Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper alignment, connectivity, and operational efficiency. ● Maintain accurate records of service, parts usage, and equipment status for reporting. ● Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site or in the workshop. ● Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate repairs, parts orders, and service schedules. Qualifications: ● Proven experience as a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced service environment. ● Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, including but not limited to gas and electric appliances, HVAC systems, and plumbing fixtures, and refrigeration. ● Technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. ● Familiarity with reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. ● Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members. ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure thorough documentation and efficient service delivery. ● Completion of technical school program in HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, or related field ● Able to stand or walk for 8-10 hours a day and carry up to 50 pounds. ● Occasionally be required to work in a cold refrigerated area kept at 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Education and Certification: ● High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical school program in HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, or a related field is required. ● Relevant certifications such as CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment
