Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role: Key Responsibilities • Take full technical ownership of multiple products, including building new features, implementing technical improvements, and providing support to editorial teams. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript , React , and Node.js . • Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs using Node.js, with NestJS experience as a plus. • Design and optimize cloud-based applications and services using AWS . • Work with PostgreSQL and other database technologies to build reliable and scalable data solutions. • Lead and provide technical direction to a team of junior developers. • Establish and enforce software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, Git , CI/CD , and automated testing. • Continuously optimize application architecture, performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability. • Build and promote reusable components and solutions that can be leveraged across multiple products and teams. • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to communicate solutions, demonstrate work, identify risks, and drive projects forward. • Work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment while meeting critical project timelines. • Provide technical guidance and independently drive solutions while seeking feedback when appropriate.
