What you'll do We're looking for a Product Lead, Collections to own the strategy, execution, and business outcomes for our Collections squad at Clara. In this role, you will lead a squad sitting at the intersection of credit risk, finance operations, and customer experience—ensuring we recover what's owed efficiently, compliantly, and without compromising customer trust. You will partner with senior software engineers alongside Risk, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support to drive the end-to-end collection lifecycle, lending facilities management, and delinquent portfolio tools. • Own discovery, prioritization, and business outcomes for the squad, driving impact across recovery rates, days-to-resolution, roll rates, and operational costs. • Talk to internal finance and collections teams weekly to identify friction points, automate manual tasks, and optimize internal operational tooling. • Design and iterate on collections workflows, ranging from automated early-stage nudges and digital payment use cases to late-stage escalation paths and external partner handoffs. • Manage delinquent portfolio tools, early delinquency signals, and regulatory compliance requirements across our core Latin American markets (Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil). • Prototype and validate product ideas using AI tools before committing engineering bandwidth, occasionally contributing code changes (copy, configuration, feature flags, or analytics instrumentation) through standard GitHub PRs. • Collaborate closely with engineering to support max uptime, system reliability, and rapid recovery processes. Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
