About the role: In Samsara’s Business Technology Core IT team, we work to deliver awesome systems, support, and experiences that enable our teams to be as impactful as possible. As a member of the team, you’ll help own network technology and processes that enable our people to do their best work. We are responsible for identifying, designing, implementing, and supporting the applications and networks to create a streamlined experience for Samsarians. As a Network/Infrastructure Engineer on the team, you will work alongside our senior network engineers to help maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot our global on-premise network infrastructure, with a particular focus on our Cisco Meraki environment. This is a great opportunity for someone early to mid-career in network engineering to build hands-on expertise while learning from experienced mentors, all while helping ensure high availability and performance for a growing company. You will work closely with operations team members to operate, repair, and improve existing network infrastructure, including providing tier-1 and tier-2 support to other members of the Information Technology team and escalating more complex issues to senior engineers as needed. This role is based at our Bangalore office and requires on-site presence 3 days a week.
