Learn more about our vision in our manifesto. https://www.happyrobot.ai/blog/manifesto ABOUT THE ROLE As Founding Recruiter, you'll partner directly with our Sales leaders and hiring managers to build our Go-to-Market organization in the region. Your primary focus will be hiring exceptional commercial GTM talent, with a strong emphasis on Account Executives, alongside roles across Sales Development, Customer Success, Partnerships, Sales Engineering, and Revenue Operations. You'll play a key role in building the teams that establish and scale our GTM motion in the region, while also supporting select generalist hires as the business grows. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role. You'll develop a deep understanding of our GTM strategy, translate business needs into hiring plans, and build the talent pipelines required to scale quickly. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Partner closely with Sales leadership to build and scale our GTM organization in the region - Own full-cycle recruiting for commercial roles, with a particular focus on Account Executives and other revenue-generating GTM talent - Build strong pipelines across Sales, SDR/BDR, Customer Success, Partnerships, Sales Engineering, and Revenue Operations - Develop a deep understanding of our GTM motion, ideal candidate profiles, and the talent required at each stage of regional growth - Advise Sales leaders on talent availability, candidate profiles, compensation, and regional market dynamics - Proactively source and engage high-performing commercial talent, including passive candidates - Own the candidate journey from first outreach through interviews, offer, and close - Build relationships and talent networks across the regional startup, SaaS, and technology ecosystem - Continuously improve sourcing strategies, recruiting processes, interview frameworks, and reporting - Support additional generalist and business-critical hiring in the region as needed WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 5+ years of recruiting experience, with significant experience hiring commercial and GTM talent - Strong track record recruiting Account Executives and other Sales roles, ideally within SaaS, technology, or high-growth companies - Experience partnering directly with Sales leaders to translate growth plans into hiring strategies - Strong understanding of commercial profiles and what makes successful GTM talent at different stages of company growth - Excellent sourcing skills and the ability to identify and engage high-performing, passive candidates - Strong knowledge of the regional commercial talent market and relevant companies and talent pools - Ability to own searches end-to-end and operate with significant autonomy - Strong stakeholder management, communication, judgment, and candidate closing skills - Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where priorities move quickly and recruiting needs evolve - Deep interest in AI, technology, and helping build a category-defining company - Organized, proactive, and excited about making talent a competitive advantage WHY JOIN US? - Join a world-class team of engineers and builders. - Backed by top investors including a16z, Y Combinator, Base10, Prysm Capital and Eurazeo.
