About the Role You will lead Notion’s GTM strategy and growth for Germany, one of EMEA’s largest and highest-priority markets. Germany is a Tier 1 region in Notion’s country-first EMEA model, with significant room to scale into a standalone, high-growth business. As General Manager, Germany, you will be the second-line leader responsible for overall revenue outcomes, regional GTM strategy, and the operating model for the German business. You will lead through frontline managers and partner closely with Business Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, Outcomes Architects, Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers, Marketing, Professional Services, Channel, RevOps, and Product to build one unified country team. This is a builder-leader role for the AI and agentic era. You will bring Notion’s new GTM model to life in Germany: moving from a segment-first motion to a country-first, AI-native operating system where teams help customers diagnose problems, design agentic workflows, and build real systems with Notion AI. This role sits on the EMEA Leadership Team and reports to the General Manager, EMEA. What You’ll Achieve Own the GTM strategy, operating rhythm, and growth plan for Germany, with accountability for overall regional revenue outcomes across Sales Assist and Self Serve contribution. Lead as a second-line manager: hire, coach, and develop frontline leaders and IC teams across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, and supporting GTM functions. Scale a country-first GTM motion that brings Notion closer to German customers through local executive engagement, market nuance, and faster field-level decision-making. Accelerate the land engine by opening the right front doors, growing professional workspaces, increasing net-new and upgrade opportunities, and connecting self-serve signals to sales-assisted motion. Win lighthouse customers and turn them into market momentum by making them wildly successful, telling their story locally, and using those wins to influence peer companies across Germany.
